BAFSA FHC Design (Commercial) 4 day course

Details
This course follows on from the Basic and Intermediate design courses and covers sprinkler designs which use the fully hydraulically calculated (FHC) method of pipe sizing and water supply selection.
Details of the modules can be found in the attachment.
The virtual classroom runs for following durations:
4 days
Day 1 – 4, 9.00 till 17.00
Friday 9.00 till 15.00
This depends on the candidate’s knowledge.
Instructions
The candidates must have the following.
A good internet connection
A quiet space is preferred and not in a busy office where background noise affects the other candidates.
A camera so we can see the candidate for the duration of the course.
An electronic workbook is provided we expect the candidate to have this printed off as there are exercises to carry out.
An up to date set of LPC Rules Inc BS EN12845
The courses have been designed for candidates with a level of experience.
Requirement no 1
Therefore, we require the candidate to have a minimum of 12 moths experience in designing of sprinkler installations.
Requirement no 2
Other candidates can be considered as long as they have a minimum of an HNC in mechanical or electrical engineering.
If requirement no1 / 2 are met and backed up by a cv or references they can be enrolled.
If the candidate does meet requirement no 1 or no 2, then the tutor will decide if they will be able to complete the course, this may need the candidate to have a short phone call to determine this.
This will also need to be backed up a cv and references.
